Lee Neubecker with Computer Forensic Updates at the Chicago Law & Technology Conference
CHICAGO: February 22, 2006 - Forensicon's President and CEO, Lee Neubecker, will be speaking at the Chicago Law & Technology Conference on Thursday, February 23, 2006. This event is organized by the Chicago Bar Association to provide up to date information on the technologies that surround the practice of law.
Mr. Neubecker will be co-presenting "Computer Forensic Update" at one of the tracks, e-Discovery, with Cameron Nelson, an attorney from Greenberg & Traurig, LLP. This co-presentation will allow the best of both worlds for practitioners of the law as Mr. Neubecker will delve into the technological aspects while Mr. Nelson will provide insight to the legal intricacies of electronic discovery. Mr. Neubecker's expertise stems from his experience as the President and CEO of Forensicon, a computer forensics firm based in Chicago. Mr. Nelson, whose areas of practice include patent and trademark litigation, had employed Forensicon's expert services for one of the cases that will be discussed during his presentation. Having worked together, both experts are able to lend a practical aspect to their presentation on how technology and the law can work in concert to successfully accomplish specific outcomes.
Accompanying Mr. Neubecker and Mr. Nelson as speakers in the conference are fellow experts in the fields of electronic discovery, computer forensics and the law. Among them are Steve T. Field from LexisNexis, Jennifer Wojciechowski from Kroll Ontrack, Billy Myers from Motorola and Catherine Sanders Reach from the ABA Legal Technology Research Center. The distinguished panel of speakers will address topics that range from technology trends that will impact a law practice to managing e-discovery and its costs.
